In emerging countries such as India, where 4G wireless may likely become the main access mechanism for the Internet, the growth and ubiquitous availability of broadband Internet access is expected to be large. This development will fuel innovations in technology, infrastructure, devices as well as services.

Bhasha aims to identify ideas and designs that will encourage the use of Indian languages on mobile phones, and as the result possibly make users more literate in their native language through casual learning.
The impact of mobile technologies and devices on how work gets done has been revolutionary. Economic studies are reporting a positive correlation between connectivity and GDP. Anecdotal "success stories" of how dabbawalas, farmers, artisans, extension workers, traveling salespersons, social workers, etc have adopted and adapted these technologies to enhance their efficacy and productivity abound on the media.
The objective of this project was to solve problems that may classically arise in the kitchens of India with universally good design that has global appeal, with focus on the needs of the lower/middle class woman and her family in key Tupperware product categories.
Xerox wanted to gain a better understanding of how freelancers practice, form, and maintain professional relationships. Goal was to assess and enhance the value and potential of this work platform for geographically and culturally dispersed agents who may never meet or interact in person.
