Tupperware

The objective of this project was to solve problems that may classically arise in the kitchens of India with universally good design that has global appeal, with focus on the needs of the lower/middle class female and her family and the key Tupperware product categories. In house visits with ethnographic research and market visits followed by affinity analysis allowed us to create deep insights into the needs, value systems and aspirations of the Indian Middle Class. The ethnographic information was utilized to create inspirational personas to guide us into initial concepts and final product designs. The typical design process covering mood boards, tonality boards, and inspirational boards were utilized to create the initial concepts. After multiple iterations of the initial concepts, form exploration and use case scenarios, the final product concepts were developed using 3D modeling tools. Manufacturing processes and material limitations along with ethnographic insights were considered during both initial ideation and final product conceptualization stages.
